Academic Goals:
  1. By June 2014, 80% of students in grades 1 to 4 will comprehend what they read or what is read to them at grade level as measured by Fountas and Pinnell.
  2. By June 2014, 70% of grades 3 - 12 students will score 'proficient' on the Whole Class Reading Assessment. By June 2015, 80% of grades 3 - 12 students will score 'proficient' on the WCRA.

**The SCC has supported our reading goal by purchasing a comfortable reading centre for the library and by purchasing bookmarks with electronic timers for all the K - 6 students.


Student Well-Being Goals:
  1. By June, 2014, 80% of students grades 3 - 6 will do homework for their classes in a timely manner as indicated in the Spring 2014 TTFM survey. (currently 55%)
  2. By June, 2014, 60% of students grades 7 - 12 will do homework for their classes in a timely manner as indicated in the Spring 2014 TTFM survey. (currently 35%)

**The SCC has supported the 7 - 12 homework goal by offering a monthly draw for a gift card to be presented to a student whose name has not appeared on the study board, showing his/her diligence to completing work on a consistent basis.
